The Budapest Affiliate Conference 2009 was attended by over 1,400 people and more than 50 exhibitors, including C-Planet. The highlight of the four-day affair was a sensational party hosted by C-Planet at one of Budapest's top clubs.
C-Planet, as an industry leader, is a regular presenter at the online gaming world's top conferences, and Budapest Affiliate Conference (BAC) 2009 was no exception. C-Planet's booth at BAC 2009 was a constant hub of activity for new and old affiliates, as well as industry VIPs and casual observers. C-Planet's representatives included Director of Marketing Ben Spiro, and affiliate manager Steve Rubin.
iGaming Business, a publishing and research leader for the gaming market, organized the event. iGB is a major provider of information regarding the industry. Its products include magazines, events, websites and reports that are used by almost 100,000 subscribers.
BAC 2009 maintained a busy agenda that covered all the essential aspects of the affiliate business. BAC 2009 delivered a wealth of strategic conferences with speakers from top online gaming organizations. Presenters discussed a variety of gaming issues ranging from the technological side of online gaming to cutting edge marketing methods. Affiliates had an occasion to meet the leaders of the gaming world at the exhibition section of the conference, with extensive opportunities to network and attend booth presentations. Special events included the Affiliate Series of Poker (ASOP), an affair that is a regular occurrence at iGB shows. For the first time, ASOP allowed all attendees to enter the tournament and compete for huge prizes.
"These events just keep getting better, for us and our affiliates", said Ben Spiro. "Attendance is growing and the shows keep getting more innovative. Everyone benefits from the mutual exchange of information. We also get the chance to touch base with our old affiliates and become acquainted with new ones. Best of all, the great traffic at our booth and the recognition we get on the floor confirm that we are the ones to watch in this industry."
Of course, no online gaming conference would be complete without a C-Planet party. Affiliates and C-Planet staffers alike were wowed by the style and excitement of the gala event held at Budapest's Privé, perhaps the city's leading nightclub. Free admission, free drinks, three DJs, twelve models, and four Go-Go dancers formed a recipe for raucous fun, which has become a C-Planet trademark.
"The party was a terrific conclusion to an amazing conference. I would like to thank our new and old affiliates for attending. It was great to meet them and relax at a party that rewards everyone for their dedication. These events let us forge both working relationships and true friendships."
For the next conference, iGB returns to London for the London Affiliate Conference 2010, slated for 28-31 January. C-Planet will attend, and of course, host the event's top party. For more information, stay tuned to the C-Planet website.
